How was your experience?
What a wonderful night of theater! First, I'll start with the venue. The Carpenter Performing Arts Center is a great place to see a show. The seats are well sloped so there is no obstruction, even with the tallest person in front of you. The theater is not that big so every seat is a good seat. Keep in mind, the stairs to the seats are quite steep. If you have difficulty walking, I would suggest asking for assistance when purchasing your seats. I once brought a family member with physical challenges and Goldstar was very helpful in getting us a seat assignment to accomodate his limitations. Now for the show... EXCELLENT! I thought the acting, singing, and dancing were all spectacular. We see a lot of theater and my husband commented that he thought this was one of the best vocal performances he has ever seen. I was very impressed with all of the actors, but Christopher Newell as Jud Fry was the most impressive. The dancing and costumes were fabulous as well; very entertaining to watch. And the music! Wow! It was hard not to sway and sing along to these timeless classics. What a truly wonderful evening :)
