How was your experience?
Off-off-Broadway play; very small theater...in fact, I was looking for a second "exit" sign in case of emergency, but didn't see one. Play itself was OK; some nice moments; sort of like watching a high school play/musical. The cast seemed like they had potential, but needed more coaching. A few times, they seemed to lose focus. The best part was the small musical ensemble. At first, I thought it was an odd choice to use 2 xylophones, but it seemed to work, especially teamed up w/ the viola or cello. Clearly, it was quite low-budget...some of the costumes seemed to come from grandma's closet and were not relevant to time-period of the play. (Especially the mother's dress: Looked like Eleanor Roosevelt wore it!) The play's ending was very sudden & didn't really wind things up. I didn't know it was over until the cast came out to take a bow!
