How was your experience?
This concert was beautifully staged and performed. The Washington Chorus did a splendid job and a children's' choir performed the part of the angels from the balcony. We particularly enjoyed the two hour discussion that the conductor and soloist singing the part of 'Elijah" held a few days before the performance. All audience members were invited. This session, as well as a discussion post-program in the Concert Hall, added depth and interest. Apparently, these education sessions are standard practice with the Washington Chorus and are an added incentive to attend their concerts. I have already looked at their schedule for the rest of the season. I hope Goldstar will offer more Washington Chorus concerts!
