How was your experience?
The venue itself is very nice and clean, right on King Street in Old Town Alexandria. Parking is easy with a parking deck maybe two blocks away. This was definitely the most interesting comedy show I have ever been to. It started with the host who was mildly entertaining, and the next act was a magician. I guess I am used to stand up comedians instead of comedy shows. But the magician was actually pretty good. After that, the host came back with a few more jokes, and then on to the feature act. I'm not going to review the comedian, since comedy is totally subjective. There's not much as far as snacks during the show. A popcorn (small bag that was only half filled) and bottle of water came to $6. You can also get some types of alcoholic beverages, but I didn't really inquire what was available. I would go back to this venue if they have someone I'd like to see. They should have a suggestion box or card like some other comedy venues to suggest comedians to visit the establishment.
