How was your experience?
A rich and profound journey into relationship with mother, life, death madness, family, the immigrant experience, Judaism, and God. Touched by the bold images, the simplicity of the words, the storytelling, the honesty of the perceptions of Ginsberg's poem. The production was bare bones and powerful... The music stood on its own but always supported the storytelling. The acting revealed the characters behind the words with illumination, grace and the nakedness of truth. The visual display on the screen danced with the polarity of the beauty of nature and the distortion of the internal emotional terrain of the human experience. I was grateful I went.
