How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
After waiting several decades for a production of Pal Joey I have to say I was disappointed in this one. I think the 2 leads, though enormously talented elsewhere, do not fit these roles. Adrian Aguilar looks like Joey but doesn't act the womanizer Joey is, maybe it's the problem of the script or the Direction,Old Fogy and cinematically speaking, Susie McMonagle plays Mrs. Simpson as if Alice Faye was cast instead of Rita Hayworth. She particularly disappoints in her rendering of Bewitched, "Bothered and Bewildered"; where's the emotion? She acts more like a hyena than a Cougar. But where they got the casting right is in the supporting players! Go to see those sleazy chorus girls, never better than when they open the second act with, "The flower garden of my heart"

Help others enjoy a great night out
