How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
I found this theatrical experience to be tiresome and contrived. However, I AM the world's biggest lazybones, and didn't enjoy schlepping around the nabe, searching for the crime suspects. (Although it was a perfect Spring day, and the East 7th Street area is fun for wandering, no matter what the purpose.) Also, we playgoers had to cool our heels amongst the drunken oafs at the bar before being admitted to the theater at the back. Also, as a person of Irish background, it was disquieting to see all these Hibernians portrayed as drunks, murderers, thieves, prostitutes and crooked cops. I think the suspects should have been kept in "holding pens" for questioning in that back room, which was convincingly gaol-like. And some of the actors' performances were so broad and annoying, the audience could've wielded rubber hoses.
