How was your experience?
A classic German play, that originally ran to 10 acts and 9 hours, this new translation pares it down to two and a half hours, including one intermission. Unfortunately, Wallenstein's true motivation is lost in the process. Is he a "Richard III" type villain, or is his ultimate goal to finally bring peace to a continent in a continuous state of war for 15 long years? More exposition is required. The production is buoyed by an excellent performance in the title role.
