How was your experience?
It was wonderful being inside the air conditioned Audi Club on a hot rainy evening. The buffet was nice, but definitely not what the reviews would have had me believe it was. They get an A+ for salads; an F for antipasto (unappealing, ungarnished, low quality luncheon meat); B+ for entrees; B- for side dishes; and B+ for desserts (not all of which were restocked). They had what may have been the best guacamole I ever had as well as a divine risotto. There was a dearth of cooked vegetable sides. The quesadillas and steak sandwich were very good, but I was expecting more upscale entrees and I certainly was not expecting to peel my own shrimp (about a tenth of which were not cleaned - yech!). Had I not read the superlative reviews or been to a number of fabulous buffets (think Wynn and Bellagio in Las Vegas) I might have been more satisfied. After all, these tickets allegedly retail for $200. Now that I am done complaining, I have to say that it was a worthwhile experience that everyone should try at least once. That is why I did award 4 stars.
