How was your experience?
Tom Stoppard's work is complex and intellectually challenging, peppered with clever humor and thought provoking one-liners. So many rich lines come flying at you all at once that it can be a bit overwhelming at times. If it's your first time watching Arcadia, you'll feel like you're missing a lot...but realize that it's a play you could watch 4 or 5 times and still discover something new. All the acting was superb with the exception of the understudy who played Nightingale who frequently tripped over his lines. The seats at the theater are cramped and don't lean back enough making it uncomfortable to sit for any length of time.
