How was your experience?
42nd Street Moon is a San Francisco treasure and "Little Me" was another in its long line of energetic love letters to the golden age(s) of American musical theatre. Uneven, and somewhat sparse, physical production values give way quickly to the spirit of the players, the charm of the material and, at the center of this production, the inimitable talents of Jason Graae. Everyone onstage was thoroughly committed and thoroughly talented, the entire evening a beacon of hope in the dismal fog of autotuned pop product and competitive singing shows that feature almost no actual singing. Bravo to all involved, and here's to 42nd Street Moon carrying the flag for years to come!
