How was your experience?
I saw "4000 Miles" on the same day that I had lunch with my 16-year old grandson. The play is excellent -- thought-provoking, well-acted and interestingly staged -- but I kept wishing that it could be presented in such a way (I refer to the language) that I could comfortably invite my grandson and his 14-year old sister to see it with me. I don't ask that the play be sanitized but I don't think my granchildren (they are not saints) will ever use the "F" word with their grandmother the way the "hero" of this play did. Is it a requrement of contemporary theater (and film) that fuck be part of everyone's basic vocabulary?
