How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
This was our first visit to the Iridium. Basically, the club is very nice. It's actually bigger than we thought. Unfortunately, we didn't have a great seat. There were people at a table in front of us who obstructed our view. Fortunately, however, there were seats behind us and to the left of us we were able to slide into to help with our view. The acoustics are very good. The service is good and the wait staff and front of the house staff are all very accommodating. We were disappointed in the menu. There was little for us to choose from in terms of appetizers especially because we are vegetarians. We ordered a dessert they call Bananas Foster that didn't even resemble Bananas Foster so that dish was misrepresented. What we were served was a piece of banana bread with banana slices and a scoop of ice cream on top. We also noticed the menu is structured so that you fall just short of the $15 minimum if you only order a glass of wine or a drink which then forces you to order something to eat. That's not cool and so obvious it's ridiculous. I don't know if we would go to the Iridium again or recommend it but the experience that night was more positive than negative and we had a nice time. We were in New York City on a Friday night having a drink and listening to some great jazz. Life is good.
