How was your experience?
Tony Starlight is a very funny, very talented performer. This was, I think, the 5th show I've seen of his and he makes me smile and laugh every time. I love the singing, the costumes, the jokes, the dancing, everything. I would see him again and again. It's pretty much almost the same show every time..sometimes an occasional new song...but that's ok. It's still equally enjoyable. He mentioned he might try an 80's show someday...that'd be great! 60's would be good too! 50's would be even better! :-) Anyway, I don't care for his actual place of business...very poor service and over-priced food...but Tony himself is wonderful and anytime he performs outside of his building, I plan to be there. If he would hire better staff, I'd tolerate the high priced food. His place of building is very cute, old-fashioned. The food is good. Alberta Rose was an ok place. My biggest complaint was that the 6 drunk girls behind my friend and I would not shut up. They talked and talked LOUDLY the entire first half of the show. Soooo rude. I even asked them to be quiet and they stopped for about 2 seconds, then went right back to what they were doing. I told the staff at Alberta Rose and they suggested that "I" change seats. Why me? I wasn't the one causing a problem. Anyway, I changed seats. There was nooooo way I was completing the show with the drunk girls behind me (who kept being served alcohol anyway)...and the 2nd half of the show was MUCH better. Respectful, fun people surrounded us on the other side of the room. My friend said she was ready to leave if we weren't moving because she couldn't hear Tony anyway...but then we moved and she enjoyed the 2nd half much better. I didn't pay to hear the drunk girls, I paid to hear Tony. (I hope the drunk girls are reading this. VERY RUDE!!!) Anyway, thanks Goldstar. Thanks Tony. Great show!
