How was your experience?
I almost let some of the reviews (Tribune, etc.) disuade me from this, but I'm glad I didn't--this is Chicago theater at it's best, wildly inventive, hilarious, poignant, with breathtaking set design (in many ways reminiscent of Jospeh Cornell's assemblagesand direction.) All the performances are outstanding, but the gent who plays Princess the elephant gets a special award in my book. I am urging all my friends to see this. You get a ni dose of Chicago history with it, too! Love love loved it.
