How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
Red Two to Red Leader: This looks like it’s going to be a dumb play. Red Leader: Stay on target. Red Two to Red Leader: No I’m serious. The first act of this play seems like it was written by a 16-year old boy. Red Leader: Stay on target. Michael Milnik’s play, “Spacebar: A Broadway Play by Kyle Sugarman,” is deceptive. A seemingly simple space opera appears on the surface of Act I while an undercurrent bubbles and simmers beneath the juvenile dialog. It’s all a subterfuge by Milnik to bring some heavy topics to a slow boil: loss, anger, loneliness. It’s also an opportunity for Milnik to stick several large pins into the overinflated balloon that is Broadway’s self-delusion of glamor and grandeur. The cast for this World Premiere production of “Spacebar: A Broadway Play by Kyle Sugarman” digs in with relish, channeling the best and the worst of television space opera from "Star Wars," "Star Trek," and "Firefly/Serenity" while delivering Milnik’s dramatic contemporary punch with ease. Only one question remains at the end of the play. Fort Collins? Go see this one. It’s not likely that something similar will come your way again.
