First class production - the sets, the music production, the choreography were quite impressive. The singers were good to outstanding - the Oliver - Brady Tutton - has a splendid voice perfectly suited to the role, and continues the family tradition having an older brother who was on a national tour with the role. His performance was more impressive than Mark Lester in the movie version of the role. The actor playing Fagin had some problems with the high notes, and would interpolate down an octave, but seemed to fully inhabit the role. The actress playing Nancy was great in both acting and voice and was the emotional heart of the piece. The actor playing the Artful Dodger was wonderful, too, and the kids in the troupe playing the workhouse kids and Fagin's kids, brought a joyful exuberance to the musical, providing their own special touches in places
