How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
I waited a long time to review this because I really wanted to find something positive to say amidst all the negative. Unfortunately, I can't. I hated every aspect of this show. I wanted to leave at intermission (in fact, several members of the audience did), but felt like I owed it to the performers to see it out. I regretted that decision. What was this story about? 2 strangers who didn't know each other but were sharing a room and getting annoyed with close quarters? A political refugee? A man who wants to go home to Poland, but maybe he doesn't? I couldn't tell you. It seemed the main reason for this show was to have one of the characters give incredibly long monologue-type speeches to the other character, showing off his knowledge of big words and ability to speak quickly and for the other character to be the...."dumb one", for lack of a better word. I found myself hating the characters at certain times. I can't even compliment their acting (see previous sentence and how once character speaks rapid fire and the other bumbles and mumbles his way through the thing) - I don't know, maybe this was meant to be part of their characters, but it just came across like terrible acting on the part of the performers. I have never in my life been happier to have a show end; I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
