How was your experience?
Great venue for a play. Size, layout, and staging were all very good. Direction and execution were good. For the most part, the acting was solid (though the older players seemed more comfortable inhabiting their roles). My major criticism would be that the play was rather thinly written. It lacked meat and realism, in that way that privileged artists write about OTHER privileged artists. Coming from a place rife with family situations similar to the one depicted, the reality is even greyer, more emotional, and rawer than that shown.
