How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
Blue Man Group was Awesome! It was a more "theatrical, comedic" show than musical. Very entertaining. They were very successful in incorporating audience participation & entusiasm. My husband & I both have never seen a show like that. It was truly fun. This was our 1st experience buying through Goldstar. It was an easy, convenient, money saving experience. I didn't realize that although we knew what section, we wouldn't know what seats until after we got to our seats. That left me with an uneasy feeling, I didn't trust that we really had seats, even with the confirmation. I've been to Jones Hall before so I knew that almost all seats @ Jones Hall are good. Ours were on the very end of the aisle & the end seat was a tad bit obstructed for what Blue Man Group was doing in their show, but fortunately that was for only a very small portion of the show. We even ate there too, Pannini with side salad (spinach, pine nuts, shrimp, olives, tomato, cheese, & balsamic vinaigarette) $12-YUM! vs Pannini with chips $12. We almost couldn't finish it, a bottle of coke, & water totaled $30. Very Nice Evening! I will try to buy again, I'm just not sure how the seat issue will go if we are at a different venue that I've never been to before.

Help others enjoy a great night out

Info
We went on a weeknight, less crowded downtown, we went early, no rushing. Plus, they are doing so much road work (that we didn't know about) we had to drive slower to get around. We had plenty of time to park in the Theatre District Garage $7, (which I had looked up online before we left so we would know how much), but didn't have to worry about safety, or security as much & we walked underground to/from the venue (just in case it was raining). Just an observation: I noticed some people don't bother dressing any different than being at their house, but it's always nice to, at least, dress business casual when you go out. That's part of making it a "special" night for everyone. Kids don't always know this so it's something you may have to teach them, that's how they learn for later, when they are on their own. You don't want them to be embarassed.
