How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
LOVED IT!!!!! This show was exactly what I needed to start my summer. Fun, great music, the costumes were perfect, and the acting was superb. I am a fan of Jack Stehlin, who directed the show. Jack should be a huge star. He was on the TV show Weeds, but he also is a gifted Shakespearean actor. In Midsummer he plays "Bottom." the guy who gets enchanted by the fairy Puck and gets turned into a.... I won't tell you what he gets turned into just in case you don't know the story. Let's just say it's hilarious! I also enjoyed the performances of Robert Cicchini and Vanessa Waters as the fairy king and queen. They fairies are dressed as gypsies in this production, which gives them a magic/earthy quality that I've not seen before. I liked the choice. There are a couple of young actors who are very strong. I know they will have great careers. The entire company is tops. The show also is under two hours including the intermission, which is always a win-win in my book.

Help others enjoy a great night out

Info
This show is good for kids too. I took my 10 year old who understood what was happening. She had a great time. The Odyssey Theatre has valet parking, but I'd get there at least 30 minutes before the show starts. I was excited that I could "stare gaze" in the lobby. Lots of celebrities see shows here.
