How was your experience?
This is a Class A tour of the recent Broadway production. Terrifically cast and appearing as fresh as if it had just opened. Rachel York is delightful as Reno, putting her own take on the part (complete with some Mae West inflections). The rest of the cast is uniformly fine, but especially Fred Applegate as Moonface and the good-looking and well-voiced Josh Franklin as Billy. The show moves quickly, and the two big production numbers both elicited enthusiastic audience response. The Goldstar tickets were good -- Row U on the side.
