How was your experience?
Marshall Tucker is an easy five stars, The Canyon, not so much! Country rock is what Marshall Tucker is all about and it was great! They played some of their best hits for about 90 minutes straight! I'm a born again fan, and can't wait for my new Marshall Tucker cd's to arrive in the mail from my favorite online retailer! As for The Canyon, I can't say many nice things about the place. I dealt with this place years ago, and my husband and I said we'd never give this place our business again, but thought I'd give them another try. Attitude, attitude, attitude, everyone at The Canyon has one. The employees at the will call window and the hostess desk have attitudes, and it's not good! Maybe they think they can treat customers like a piece of trash because they have no competition. Whatever the reason is, they need to have a little more, no, a lot more respect for the people that keep their doors open, and them employed! The Canyon has a policy that you have to spend $25 per person to be able to sit down, so we waited until it was almost time for Marshall Tucker to go onstage before we returned. A beer and a glass of house wine cost a whopping $17 plus a tip! It seems they don't support having a designated driver. Inside The Canyon was so, so hot! Agoura Hills is hot anyways during the summer, so why wasn't management prepared for the heat wave? Combine the heat with alcohol, and I'm surprised no one passed out! It would take a lot for me and my husband to return to The Canyon. There may not be anything like The Canyon in the general area. We'll just wait for our favorite bands to play at other venues, even if it means traveling to L. A.,Orange County, or San Diego.
