How was your experience?
There were on-going weather reports of severe thunderstorms so we were concerned the cruise might be canceled. When we were about to board there was an announcement that the weather service had informed Navy Pier personnel that the weather threat could need us to seek shelter. The staff said the cruise would not be canceled unless they were told they had to evacuate. We boarded just before the storm hit. We had to stay at the dock a while and then when the weather settled a bit we did cruise. Unfortunately it did rain most of the time and stay overcast the whole time. The Anita Dee staff were cordial and good. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. But they only took cash which should have been stated in the trip information. It would have been nice to have some snacks available even if there was a charge, especially since we needed to stay inside for most of the trip. Although the "severe" weather passed it did rain in varying degrees most of the time.
