How was your experience?
Bethesda Blues and Jazz is a great venue to hear music. We celebrated our anniversary by hearing the Hot Club of Detroit. The music was great. The club has a first-rate sound system. This is a listening club. Once the music starts, the audience is expected to be quiet and respectful of the musicians. Happily, the club attracts an audience that respects that. The venue, created out of the old Art Deco Bethesda Theater is beautiful. Some earlier review criticized the club for bad service and poor food. The kitchen and the staff seem to have sorted things out. We found the food to be good, if not overwhelming. But you go here for the music and the ambience.
