How was your experience?
There were 13 guests and 2 staff persons on a very small sailing ship. The Privateer had more seating space below unavailable to guests. Thirteen of us hung on the edge of the ship; there was small wooden bench on the aft of the ship which seated four people. The rest of the people sat on top of the boat. It was very windy, and our boat was perpendicular to the water 80% of the time. We hung on to the small ropes surrounding the boat with both hands. It was hilarious to think one could actually drink the complimentary (2@Person) drink that accompanied our sail. Very few of the guest were able to juggle the feat. It was quite harrowing, the whole ordeal. All of us were relieved to have survived the journey. This venture was not for fun, but for endurance. If you endured the sail, you were just glad you made. It was kind of like surviving a hurricane or any other disaster.
