How was your experience?
Band played well and Ian Anderson pranced about the stage as usual playing his flute. Unfortunately, devoting so much of the show to Thick as a Brick 1 and 2, left the audience wanting for a wider variety of songs, as evidenced by their increased enthusiasm during the encore. Ian's decision to feature another singer was a good one, as his vocals are not as strong as they used to be. Not enough was done with visual effects (by today's concert standards), a problem for us especially in the last row of our Goldstar section; we may as well have paid less to sit in the section behind us. Greek Theatre does not allow outside food! We had to eat our sandwiches before entry. Ridiculous!
