How was your experience?
Great to hear that haunting score again. It's a tough show to pull off as so much is required, or even demanded by the audience as far as sets. Musical Theatre West did an impressive job of creating Norma Desmond's mansion on stage. More then you could ever expect from some high school or college production. Valerie Perri does a good Norma. Great, powerful voice. David Burnham has come into his own and stands out as a true leading man. He looks so much like John Barrowman these days, who did this show in London with Betty Buckley. So it was like revisiting this show, like it was an old friend.
