How was your experience?
I love MCC's singing, but I was disappointed in the fact that it was a much slower pace than I was expecting. I dragged my husband to it, thinking he would like the bouncy tunes like "Down at the Twist and Shout", "Shut up and Kiss Me" etc. but none of those great oldies were sung. Also, I had never heard Marc Cohn before and some of his songs, although enjoyable, went on and on... Parking was convenient using the free Shuttle bus; however, it was not well organized at the end of the concert to get us back to our cars. We had to wait a while for a bus to come, and then only one came -- there should have been 3 there waiting for us when we all exited the theater, so the line would move faster. But, it was better than high price to park close by. The woman's bathroom, as usual, is small. We sat on the cement steps, but were comfortable on our rolled-up blanket. Others brought small seats with backs. You could bring in your own food and drinks, but no glass bottles. The area is beautiful with several hiking trails. It is a nice theater -- you can see well from any seat, so don't pay extra for the chairs if you don't mind sitting on backless seats.
