How was your experience?
revolver is a masterpiece...well, let me say a flawed masterpiece. It's a series of scenes loosely interrelated, all revolving around the use of guns. Couldn't ask for a more timely theme. Anyone, gay, straight, or otherwise will have no problem relating to the characters portrayed here. Honestly, I got confused a bit thinking I knew which actors were playing which characters. When I examined the program more closely I saw that two actors with the same last name appeared in the show, and they look very similar. Are they brothers? Twins? They were both good, but maybe that was an unfortunate casting choice. The night I saw the show featured an understudy in the roles of JC/Patrick, and I thought he rushed through many of his lines without enough breath so we could properly understand him. Somewhat mechanical. But I think with a little fine-tuning, this could become a very important contemporary piece of theater. In an unqualified way I would say, Don't miss it.
