How was your experience?
The "live" broadcast of the stage play was well done. The video moves did not intrude on the theater experience. Visual were crisp and audio was excellent. I judge this using the Met Opera simulcasts. The play itself was marvelous. If it is re-broadcast, make the effort to see it. However, the MusicBox venue has a major drawback. It is near Wrigley Field. Parking is very scarce. Street parking allows a max of 3 hours. The play ran just over 3 hours. If you park, pay and attend the play you run over the meter time. My meter slip expired 9:40; the parking ticket was issued 9:42. I will avoid the MusicBox in the future for this reason. The NTLive (London theater) series seems also to have arranged to show at other locales, specifically at Northwestern in Evanston where the parking duration will not be an issue.
