How was your experience?
I was so embarrassed to have brought my parents to see Paul Mooney perform. Every other word was an expletive, in conjunction with the "N-word", of course. Prior to purchasing the tickets, I viewed the video clips that were used to advertise the show and they were funny. Paul Mooney previously stated that he no longer was going to use the "N-word" in his jokes, and that was the only reason why I decided to purchase the tickets. The acts that performed prior to Paul Mooney were also terrible!! The comic made sad jokes of his childhood spent in foster care and his abusive family. The singer sang....well, tried to sing "I will always love you", by the late Whitney Houston. It was a travesty and just sad. Thankfully these tickets were complimentary, otherwise I would have been upset with myself for spending more than $6! Lol.
