How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
Let me start out by saying: We LOVED the show! This was our first time seeing a show at the Marin Shakespeare Company we were were thoroughly entertained. That being said, the production was far from perfect. There were some off directoral choices, and it was hard to tell whether the play was a comedy or a drama. It felt a little schizophrenic in those regards. One moment a man was being strung up, beaten, and stabbed to death, and the next moment a man dressed in women's clothing was twirling across the stage. At one point three women walked out and sang a tone-deaf rendition of "Amazing Grace" that I'm fairly certain wasn't written in the original script. And don't get me started on the bizarre leprechaun costumes. All that being said, however, we really enjoyed the experience, though perhaps not for the reasons the theatre had intended, and we will definitely be back again!
