How was your experience?
I purchased 4 tickets for this event so I could invite 3 friends that love international dance. We got there at 2:00 as stated on the Goldstar site and the event web site. It stated picnic site but there was no grass it was just a concrete lot, good thing we brought blankets and chairs to sit on because we would of been sitting on cold concrete. We expected the dance show to start at 2:00, however, it did not start until 4:30, meanwhile we sat in very cold wind trying to stay warm and keeping everything from blowing away. When the dance performers did start the group from New Zealand that we came to see only performed for 10 minutes and did 3 short dances, the other two groups were from the Bay Area, although beautiful, not really what we came to see. It seemed very disorganized. Dinner which included a roast pig event was the focal point of the event which we knew nothing about so did not prepare to eat dinner at this event. It was disappointing, the web site should of provided more information so we knew what to expect, instead we sat in cold trying to figure it out. I felt bad that my friends had to endure two 1/2 hours of waiting for such a short performance of the group we wanted to see. I would not recommend this event to anyone, it was disappointing. I was just glad that I paid the Goldstar price of $10 and not the $25 at the door price! Yikes!!
