How was your experience?
The Sklar Brothers were new to me, and they were hilarious! Consistently funny, edgy, topical and even actual nice guys (which I found out after the show when I bought their CDs and they thanked me personally and genuinely). The venue was just okay -- extremely crowded with discount ticket hunters like me, as they seem to make their money on the mandatory two-item-minimum-per-person. Fortunately I had read the fine print and was prepared for this extra expense. If you are vegetarian, have food restrictions/allergies, or are otherwise a picky eater, I strongly advise dining out beforehand and only getting drinks or dessert at the venue, as the food does not seem supremely healthy. The only truly bad part of the show was the emcee, who was painfully unfunny and set dreadfully low expectations for the rest of the night. Fortunately the opening comedian and the Sklars were well worth the time and money spent.
