How was your experience?
The performance was excellent. The band was energised, motivated and inspired. The audience was very responsive, and there was great communication. The B.B. King Blues Club was not a positive experience, however. We were a party of six, and we never got a chance to order our food. When we arrived, we told our waiter that we would like to eat. He acknowledged that and took our drinks order. Another group arrived at our long table. They got their drink orders first. When our drinks arrived, we asked to order food, and our waiter said he'd come right back. The party next to us then got to order their food. When their food arrived, we asked the waiter again to order food, to which he responded that he'd be right back. After one and a half hour of hopelessly trying to order the food, the performance was over and we gave up. We paid for the drinks, wrote a little note on the receipt explaining our miserly tip and went on to eat at a neighboring place. Had he actually took our food order (and delivered it), he would have surely received some $40 in tip (our bill would have likely come to at least $200).
