How was your experience?
The Goldstar ticket mechanism worked perfectly. I enjoyed seeing the play, though "enjoyed" is always a strange word when reviewing black comedies. The writing by Durang was the main thing I went to see, and it was very good... at times purely funny, at times the frequent Durang playing with theater, and at times being hit over the head with a stiff foam bat, but that was probably necessary to drive the first half of the play. The acting was uniformly good. The main actress has the hardest task in the first half, with a "normal" person being surrounded by 6 caricatures of people. She did an adequate job with a difficult task, though I found myself wishing for more from her. During the second act her role become much stronger and she was very good in it. Black comedy is not for everyone, but I and my guest enjoyed the performance.
