How was your experience?
This is an outstanding play, a contemporary adaptation of a classic Greek tragey, "Medea" by Euripides. The drama is set in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, the characters are undocumented Mexicans, and it works both as classic tragedy and as a commentary on the immigration issue now hotly debated in the USA. The theater is outstanding too, comfortable seats, good sight lines, wonderful set design and direction. Altogether, one of our best theater experiences this season. Highly recommended.
