How was your experience?
I bought 4 VIP seats, which were more expensive than regular seats. And with 4 chairs to a table, I figured I was buying a VIP table by the stage (like the Vegas burlesque show I attended). When I got there, I was informed that VIP tickets were basically like general admission, that you are seated as you arrived, and that my 4 tickets just meant they would supply 4 seats - not necessarily seats together, just 4 seats. So, I was pretty upset when I was told that none of our party could sit together and none of the 4 seats were anywhere near the stage. The room was incredibly crowded, and packed in so tightly that my legs were hitting the chair in front of me and the arms of my chair were right up against the chairs next to me - sitting that close to two strangers was incredibly uncomfortable considering we were at a burlesque show. I'm only 5'6" - I can't imagine how taller guests stood this. The acoustics were terrible (ear piercing at times), and you could hear music from another stage through the walls. No one ever came by for my drink order. I tried watching the show, but there seemed to be more stand up comedy than burlesque, which wasn't even all that funny. Our party left after 15 minutes, and tried to get a refund. Customer service was non-existent. Since the box office had already closed, I was told to call the box office in the morning. When I called the next morning, I was told I couldn't get a refund because the show was already over, even though I tried getting a refund the night before. Catch 22 and they wouldn't budge on the refund. I'm pretty sad this turned out so horribly, since the Vegas burlesque show was just incredible - I will never attend another show from this company or House of Blues.
