How was your experience?
I am generally a big fan of Goldstar. I've bought several event tickets from them. This Friday night firework event could have been a one-off, but it was a pretty bad experience. It was super hot (which is not anyone's fault), and it was a sold out game, so we didn't even park until about an hour and a half into the game. There were tons of people still walking in and purchasing tickets. I went to Lot G to find the Goldstar stand. (I was warned it's a bit hard to find.) The workers were pretty clueless about who Goldstar was, and some of them sent me in the right direction, but some of them didn't. It was frustrating having to walk in the heat around dodger stadium. Once we got to the ticketing booths, they were closed. I figured they could close early if people showed up to claim their tickets late, but there were no signs of where to go. I asked the workers again at the gate, but they had no clue. I was lucky to just go up to a random will call booth, and they DID have my tickets. They said, "oh, they brought them up here earlier." Gre~at....wish there was a sign saying tickets were at will call. Basically, the game and event were great. Fireworks are always fun at Dodger Stadium. I just had a rough time getting my tickets. There needs to be better coordination at the stands, especially when they leave them with will call. Having signs all over the place (like Stub HUB did) would save a lot of time and headache.
