How was your experience?
This is a very comfortable, intimate venue, with friendly owners who are willing to try new plays. Telemachus was totally different than the Midsummer Night's Dream production I had seen, but I liked it very much. I was glad that I had revisited the Odyssey before going, it helped to understand the play, which centers on a young man whose father was lost at sea in World War I, much as the Greek character loses his father in the Trojan War. The story is told with drawings projected on a screen and the boy's thoughts. I highly recommend the play and any others to be presented at the Brelby!
