This is a wonderful play by the late Paul Zindel, and Dragon's new production completely does it justice! Although set in Staten Island during the late 1960s, its themes are timeless. Family dysfunction. Alcoholism. Sibling rivalry. Intrusive neighbors. Yet incredibly, the play also manages to be hilariously funny! The cast is outstanding across the board, with a scene-stealing turn by Kyle Wood as Bob, the neighbor-from-hell. Don't miss And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little--it's that good.
