How was your experience?
I have taken my daughter to see this play at the Irvine Barclay Theatre & Cheng Hall and she has seen the movie, so I knew that SOME vulgar language/behavior was to be expected - but this presentation went overboard. I was given a light warning from the ticket booth about the context of the show, but would have liked to have been advised that the foul language in the movie paled in comparison to this version. I believe the cigarettes used were the vapor-kind, but would have appreciated a heads-up about their use. I would advise that Goldstar include an age-appropriate level the next time a play of this caliber is offered. A "PG-13" would definitely have helped in my decision.
