How was your experience?
A huge disappointment for me--I am a Sarah Marshall fan, and even though I had read some of the mixed reviews about this black Irish dramedy-it was really not a good production!- The worst part was not being able to understand any of the first 20 minutes of dialogue! The actress who played Maureen, the daughter, spoke as if she had marbles in her mouth, and for some reason Sarah Marshall's voice did not project well--we were sitting half way up the orchestra--row F on the side, but I had to get a hearing device for the 2nd act, which was better--the two male actors projected fine, and the best part of the play was the opening of the 2nd Act when Maureen's thwarted suitor read aloud the letter he had written to her-- That was very moving, and I could hear him perfectly! since many of the earlier comments mentioned trouble understnding the Irish accents, I had thought they might have worked on them by now-- As I said, we (I had invited 3 friends along) were all quite disappointed! I hope Round House does better with its next production--
