How was your experience?
This show got a standing ovation for its preview. This was very well cast. The lead (Carrie) and her mom have excellent voices as did the young woman who played Sue and the woman who played the PE teacher. High quality production with some good "special effects". Not an uplifting story by any means yet very enjoyable. The only downside was some of the sound was muffled esp. during group numbers. It was hard to understand some of what they were saying. Not sure if it was the mics, the speakers, or both. Regardless, go see this! It is worth the regular (full) ticket price. I have a feeling that we will be seeing the youngster who played Carrie in many more Bay Area productions. Kudos to Ray of Light theater.
