How was your experience?
I could (and just may) go see this play again. It is a brilliant piece of writing: intelligent, witty, and moving. The protagonist, Arnold, who is extraordinarily well-played to the point the actor IS Arnold, will win your heart. This is a piece of theatre that is enormously entertaining and, and the same time, so very insightful as to the fact that gay people are still people, with many of the same dreams, hopes, and issues the rest of us have - plus challenges that the rest of us who are considered more mainstream do not suffer. But, sexuality aside,, Torch Song Trilogy is simply a great play, and the cast does a fabulous job with it. Do not miss it while it is here in DC, and done so well.
