How was your experience?
It's true this really is just a money-making maching for the event promoters. But if you go in knowing that (& get tix for $8 total each w/fees, as I did thru Goldstar - yes!) then this is quite enjoyable! LOVED listening to William Shatner talk about anything and everything under the sun. Haven't laughed that hard in a long time. At 82, he's clearly had more coherent days, but he was unfiltered, insanely entertaining, and spunky -- may we all live long enough to not give a hoot what anyone thinks & just say what we think! The actors who played Ferengis Rom & Nog were also there, really fun watching them up on stage together in FULL makeup & costume (awesome!). Was disappointed by how few good fan costumes there were, and by how small the whole convention was (just some booths and a hall where stars spoke), but I'm definitely glad I went. Would I go again? Only if Leonard Nimoy starts doing these again!!
