How was your experience?
Boring! My friend and I understood that this would be based on the financial industry, but we were hoping more for a character driven exploration into the inner psyche's of the money-obsessed and what their greed drives them to do, along with the disaster it can wreak upon their victims. Instead, it was blah, blah, blah about financial issues and office politics. Admittedly, not all felt this way. Some found it quite hilarious (though it was billed as a drama) while we noted some audience members snoozing in their seats as well. During the blessed intermission we skedaddled out of there gratefully, along with some other patrons who seemed equally pleased to escape. Whether it picked up in the second act I cannot say, but it was the first time I have ever wanted to walk out of a performance at Theatre Wit. The actors seemed adequate but none stood out as memorable.
