How was your experience?
This was our second time to the Maverick Theater (we saw Amadeus earlier in the year and really enjoyed it) so we knew it was a small theater. We also knew that the play was based on a really really bad film (Bela Lugosi's last movie role) by Ed Woods....so knowing that it would be campy and corny with really bad effects - it still was fun and we laughed at all the bad effects and over the top acting. They even had some audience participation (while still in our seats) so go with low expectations and you will be entertained. Plenty of free street parking right next to the theater if you get there within 1/2 hr of showtime. We got there early and walked over to downtown area and had a great meal, a couple of drinks and walked back to enjoy the show.
