How was your experience?
3.5 stars. Great music, fantastic dancing, beautiful sets and costumes and a nice reinterpretation of an old story and iconic Disney movie. Some of the acting was just so-so, but the big numbers worked well and were crowd-pleasers. Kids should enjoy this, as mine did. The whole show hinges on the actor who plays Mowgli, and the one we saw was good enough, though not stellar. No Lion King in terms of visual impact, but a pleasurable theater-going experience and worth the Goldstar money. As always, there are no bad seats at the Huntington. Would recommend to families with kids aged 6 and above (just because it's two hours+).
